As you may or may not know, we’ve been having a jolly good time whipping up all sorts of delicious things at the Cooks Without Borders Cookbook Club. Now through July 1, we’re all cooking recipes from Umma: A Korean Mom’s Kitchen Wisdom by Sarah Ahn and her mother Nam Soon Ahn. We’re sharing our experiences with its recipes on our members-only Chat, and will compare notes at our July 1 monthly meeting.
I have an unusual idea for the next book club selection — the one we’ll start cooking from in July. I’ve been working for some time on an e-cookbook, Fabulous French Recipes from Cooks Without Borders. If there’s sufficient interest, I thought I’d offer a complimentary “review” copy to each member of the Cookbook Club (and all paid subscribers are welcome to join!). By “review” copy I mean it’s not 100% finished; it’s more like galley proofs — still needing to be proofread, corrected and so forth.
