Diane Kochilas in conversation with Leslie Brenner

A recording from Cooks Without Borders live video – we talked about Diane's new cookbook ATHENS, about the food scene in that magnificent city and more.

Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video conversation about Greek cooking with author Diane Kochilas!

We had a technical issue and were not able to take questions live — so please go ahead and drop your questions at the end of this post in the COMMENTS. Diane has generously promised to pop in now and then and answer them.

Want to cook from ATHENS: FOOD, STORIES, LOVE along with the Cooks Without Borders Cookbook Club? It’s our November selection, and we’re excited to launch it at this evening’s monthly meeting. Paid subscribers are welcome to join us.

November Meeting Agenda

Introduce new members

Compare notes about Ready for Dessert: My Best Recipes by David Lebovitz. That’s the book we all cooked from in October. We also posted pix and notes about it in our subscriber chat.

Introduce Athens: Food, Stories, Love by Diane Kochilas. During the month of November, we’ll all be cooking from the brand-new book, sharing comments about it in the chat, along with photos of what we cook. Then we’ll compare notes on it at our December meeting (December 2 — we meet the first Tuesday of every month).

Choose a book for December. Bring your ideas!
