I’m just back from a badly needed getaway to Northern California for a little R&R and a lot of oysters from Tomales Bay. I got to visit a dear old friend, whose Santa Rosa plum tree was heavy with fruit. Lucky me — my friend sent me home with a giant bag of my all-time favorite fruit.
